Eric Schroeder Vivas has more than twenty years of experience in the fields of architecture, interior and product design. He has worked in a wide variety of projects ranging from high-end residential, restaurant and retail design, to corporate interior design and construction document development.
Eric has also been involved in the realm of art, exhibiting in Art Basel both in Switzerland and Miami. He also created a public art permanent installation at the University of Puerto Rico Metro Station.
He designed several wallpaper collections for the Italian company of Jannelli e Volpi, a series of hydraulic cement mosaic tiles for Industrias Aguayo, Dominican Republic, as well as several carpet designs for CC Tapis, in Milan, Italy. Some of these designs have been published in both Wallpaper* Magazine and Elle Decor Italia.
From 2011 until 2015 he worked in the firm of Nbbj, in their offices at Columbus, Ohio, and in London, UK. During his time with Nbbj he was interior design and workplace strategy leader for a variety of corporate and healthcare projects in Russia, the Middle East and United Kingdom. In 2015 Eric moves to New York City, where he worked as senior interior designer under the office of Mufson/Nelson. He was lead interior designer for both the New York Life Lounge and for the Nomad Tower building projects, during both its conceptual & construction development phases.
Since 2019 he has lived in the city of Los Angeles, the place he calls home now. In 2023 he worked in Rottet Studio for Viking Cruises, as part of their interior design team in the renovation of some of their river cruises.
