Yin was born and raised in Hong Kong. She studied architecture at Pratt Institute, one of the most sought-after colleges in New York City. Upon graduation, Yin spent 7+ years working directly with the Principle, Radoslav Opacic, an AIA Award winning Architect, who is also one of the Best 14 Architects in Westchester, NY. Over the years at Opacic Architects, Yin has become an integral part of a design and production team, and many of the projects she participated in received Best Design awards. Yin forged a sharp skillset which she still relies on to turn her creative vision into an architectural reality. Yin later ventured towards INC, a younger and more energetic NYC-based design firm, where she further developed her architectural language. INC helped broaden Yin’s experience from refined single-family residential buildings to boutique-commercial design. Her projects at INC have ranged among others from boutique fitness centers to hotels and restaurants.
