Duties as Construction Manager include acting as a liaison with architects, contractors and trade workers, managing construction documents including reviewing, internally filing and sending follow up correspondences as needed, updating and maintaining furniture plans and cross referencing plans with project RCP, Electrical and HVAC plans, creating and maintaining finish, lighting, hardware and plumbing schedules, researching and sampling materials for client presentations, visiting job sites to supervise decorative trade work and coordinating this work with contractor’s schedules, and attending site meetings and generating meeting notes and any necessary follow up. Responsibilities as Junior Designer include requesting estimates and product information from vendors and trades, researching and producing deliverables such as renderings and inspirational images for client presentations, coordinating the delivery of samples and merchandise for projects, and maintaining client files, materials library and sourcing of new materials.

Responsible for the coordination of tenant build – out projects for Class A Office, Medical, Industrial and Retail design from schematic design to post-construction phases for prospective and current tenants. Duties include drafting test fits, creating design boards and digital presentations, selection of materials and finishes, drafting construction documents, creating tenant improvements, composing finish schedules, contacting vendors and installers for quotes, completing on-site visits for project progress and client meetings, generation of punch lists and subsequent follow-up. Maintaining and overseeing the materials library, including the addition of new materials and products through meetings with company representatives and vendors. Additional responsibilities include creating marketing and branding materials for current and prospective properties, as well as, creating work letters and the documentation of existing buildings, new acquisitions, tenant build-outs, and construction development for internal reference libraries.

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of two commercial studio spaces which includes opening and closing the studio, preparing the space for the day’s shoot as well as upcoming shoots, assisting clients with all needs while on set, maintenance of the studio including the research and acquisition of appropriate vendors when needed for repair work, working with city officials for inspections as necessary. Administrative duties include coordinating the rental calendars for both spaces as well as the personal and work calendars for the photographer and prop stylist that own the studios, answering phone calls and emails daily, directing the use and reception of various messengers, ordering studio/office supplies, and maintaining all aspects of this administration within a specific budget. Accountable for generating invoices after each shoot, filing them accordingly for the bookkeeper, and completing follow-up with invoices and payments as necessary. Additional duties consist of: making travel arrangements, tracking personal expenses and invoices, researching shoot locations, and sourcing of props for the owners of the studio.
