About

Hi I’m Sam.
I believe the power of imagination can change everything. For me, design is all about the critical, thought-provoking ideas that are born out of wondering. And it’s these little wonderings in our imagination that, with a little give and take, can become our reality.
I like to think that as designers, part of our job is to shrink ourselves down into these little investigators and run around inside peoples’ heads with our little flash lights exploring their imagination. We reveal clues, decode hidden messages, and map out a journey that they themselves may not even have known they had.
The result of our findings and some story telling can lead to an environment full of surprise and personality. It’s our job as designers to understand those inner workings and combine them with our studies and know-how to create something wonderful. To use what we’ve learned to create spaces in the three-dimensional world that encourage people to lean into the craziness of their imaginations and marvel at the outcome!
Just take a minute and understand the beauty that can come out of a world filled with designs that inspire greatness. This is the power a designer has; the power to create experiences that ignite a spark in all that walk through the door. I’d like to use this open-minded way to go about things, and bring it to everyone I can.
