I have been doing design management for the past 7 years. I am well versed in productions methods, tolerances, materials, and team management. Directly manage a team of 13 people and indirectly manage 30+ junior architectural staff to realize models for the purpose of design tools and presentation tools. Maintain and order supplies and materials for the production of architectural and product design models. Negotiate contracts and prices for materials and outside service providers. Run in-house photography for models as well as product design editorials and head shots for featured articles of partners. Report directly to partners on matters of finance and staffing for the department. Run staffing for an average of 10 projects daily. Maintain equipment for the purposes of model making and production including; 3-D printers, laser cutters, spray booth, 3 Axis CNC machine, Full wood shop / Metal shop. Run education program for the purposes of in-house education including; Principals of photography, CAD for the laser cutter, 3-D modeling for the purpose of 3-D prints. Architectural modeling and it's future, Wood shop safety. Report and file paperwork on hazardous materials to the EPA.

In addition to the aforementioned role i also work with the Product Design team to create designs for several product partners including: Lualdi Porte, Lightolier lighting, Bendhiem Glass, Landscape Forms, S.A. Baxter, and David Edwards Furniture among others.
