I am recognized for the collaborative hands-on style that combines interdiciplinary team structure with a research based platform. As a team leader, I overse a collaborative process on every project that reinforces the commitment to meeting clients needs through innovative architectural thoughtful design solutions.

I have the experience to take full responsibility for projects from inception to completion, with hands-on-involvement working with owners, building users and consultants.  As a collaborative designer I participate in the program development and design conceptualization of projects, schematic design, design development, construction documents and overseeing the completion of the project making sure that the design intent is realized.   I am technically capable of detailing complex building envelopes, coordinating with consultants and, understanding building codes.  I am fully committed to sustainability and believe that all buildings should be holistically integrated to the surroundings, users and program.

In over 25 years of working as an Architect I have worked with some of the most talented and well known architectural firms in the nation.  I have collaborated on projects that have won national AIA awards and have been published in most if the leading architectural publications. I have an impressive portfolio of academic, higher education, cultural institutions, mix-use, residential, science and technology and transportation projects.  My sensibility in understanding the design intent made me an asset while working and trained in  Polshek Partners - Ennead, Gwathmey Siegel associates, Hardy Holzman Associates, Hillier Group and Richard Dattner Architects.

Working with these firms game me the exposure and opportunity to work for some of the most interesting and high profile commissions in  a collaborative environment.  These experiences provided me with the opportunity to be around people that wanted to create great Architecture and push the envelope while respecting budget and the client's program expectations.

I bring a unique sensibility to projects ranging in scale from complex mixed-use to small scale projects.  My approach begins with an investigation of culture, context and climate and then I integrate the analysis with thorough understanding of function that allows me to create a unified and meaningful architectural response.  The design solutions are inventive and thoughtful and meaningful architectural response.  The design solutions are inventive and thoughtful with strong emphasis on the integration of scale, light and nature.
