Born in the Dominican Republic, Silvia completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), graduating with Cum Laude honors. Upon completing her degree, she pursued her lifelong dream of designing in New York City and joined Atelier NY Architecture where she focused on residential renovation projects for major real estate developers in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Through this experience designing functional, efficient, and timeless environments for New Yorkers, Silvia developed a passion for the interiors and pursued a Master’s in Interior Design in one of the most iconic and design forward cities in the world, Barcelona. While completing her degree at ELISAVA, Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, she immediately applied her acquired skills by interning at Ruiz Carrión Espais, a Catalan Interior Design firm focusing on residential projects throughout the Iberian Peninsula. Living in Europe provided Silvia the opportunity to experience many different cultures, cuisines and most importantly, architectural designs as she visited more than twelve countries ranging from Morocco, and Hungary, to Greece. It was truly an enriching experience that will forever remain with Silvia as she is enthusiastic about bringing an inspired energy and color, reflective of her past experiences, to her new projects.
