Zachary Colbert is an architect and educator based in New York City where he is an adjunct assistant professor of architecture at Columbia University. His work has been featured in Art Forum, Architect, Architectural Record, GOOD, and URBAN magazines and has been shown in galleries and museums in NYC, Los Angeles, Dubai, Santiago de Chile, Rotterdam, and Beijing.
He holds a Master of Architecture from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation where he received an Honor Award for Design Excellence, the Lucille Lowenfish Memorial Prize, and a William Kinne Fellowship. He earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was a member of the Undergraduate Academy. He has worked with SHoP Architects, Leslie Gill Architect, Bernard Tschumi Architects, SAS / Solomonoff Architecture Studio, and ROY Co. Design on projects in the United States, Brazil, Chile, and South Africa.
