I’ve graduated from Ain Shams university in Cairo, Egypt, as I finished my bachelor’s degree in 2003. After my graduation,
I started my first job as an architect at centroid architects. I improved a lot my design and visualization skills during the
year that I worked in this studio. After that I was interested in gaining some experience in the construction field. I joined
Al-A’mar Consulting Group where I started working as a consultant construction architect. I realized very fast that I don’t
have a sufficient experience to make a good consultant, and I have to work as a contractor construction architect to
acquire the needed experience. I resigned the job after 4 months and joined Tal’at Mustafa Group, where I worked as a
contractor construction architect for one year. I improved a lot my management and construction skills during this period.
The scale of work in this company was huge yet the level of construction was medium economic. After this job I found
out that I need experience in more than economic residential construction. I joined Tohamy Design house, where I was
responsible of carrying out almost all of the responsibilities of each project I work on, starting from design concept, to
client meeting, ending with construction. I have gained the experience of dealing with clients as well as the high finishing
construction skills. After two years I joined LaMirada real estate, as I needed some free time during my application for the
master’s degree at Polimi and the application for the Italian visa, this job offered me the free time that I needed during
this period. I have experience a lot during my study in Italy on the personal as well as the professional scale. I have gained
some new perspectives of architecture and how to deal with architectural decisions based firstly on the location of the
project, as well as the function and the type of the buildings users, not only functionally, but also in the architectural
language used for the design.
