I have just finished my BA(Hons) degree at the Manchester School of Architecture and am passionate about learning and progressing in the challenging architectural world.
I am seeking to work in a team creating energy efficient architecture related to the its context. My main interest is in keeping a balance between innovative contemporary design and historic revitalization. I believe that understanding both modern and traditional technologies can beneficially inform our future. My final year project allowed me to explore my particular interests through in-depth site investigation , precedent consideration, study tours, and detailed technology studies.
I believe that a successful design is one that combines theory , research , analysis , contextualisation, and
understanding of materiality , technology and detail. In my work, I rely both on hand drawing techniques and digital technology to develop and communicate my ideas and projects.
