Of the 100+ undergraduate students, the best work their final design studio in the Wallenberg Studio Awards is considered for this award. Winners receive funds from the Raoul Wallenberg Endowment to explore and engage in the culture of the country they visit, exploring architecture and culture, and getting acquainted with the people. The Wallenberg Travel Reports display some students' experiences.
Taubman Scholar, 1st Place
The Taubman Scholar award is given upon admission to the college. Taubman scholars receive a scholarship for their attendance. The continuation of the award is given to those who exhibit academic excellence through their first year. This award period at the Taubman College of Architecture was for 2010-2014.
AIA Henry Adams Medal & Certificate, 1st Place
In each recognized school of architecture in the United States, the American Institute of Architects annually awards an engraved medal to the M.Arch. degree candidate with the highest scholastic standing. A certificate is awarded to the degree candidate with the second highest standing. The faculty determines the awards.
