About

I am an Architectural Project Manager currently living in Huntington Beach, CA.  I recently relocated here from Sarasota, FL and I am looking to continue my career within a firm that creates beautiful work that gives back to the residents and provides the community with a positive change.  I have a wide range of experience in residential architecture, such as high-end custom homes, semi-custom homes, developer housing, mixed-use, multi-family, churches and tenant improvements.

Employment

Clifford M Scholz Architects, Inc., Sarasota, FL, US, Project Manger

As a Project Manager at Clifford M. Scholz Architects, I was responsible for working closely with the Project Architect to develop design drawings into construction documents. I actively led client meetings and created trusting relationships with them. As a Project Manger, I also was the point person for all consultants and responsible for contracts and approval of work.

Architects BP Associates, San Diego, CA, US, Project Manger

Moving my way up from Intern Architect to Job Captain to Project Manager was a rewarding and driving experience during my tenure at Architects BP Associates. As the construction market fluctuated so did the type of projects the office took on. I was lucky to work on a variety of projects from custom homes, semi-custom developer homes, 2 churches, a tenant improvement on an old motel turned halfway house, multi-family townhouses, urban planning and mixed use.

Education

University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL, US, MArch, Architecture

University of Miami School of Architecture is focused on quality design studio classes as well as practical learning of systems, structures, construction documents, etc...

I learned to be passionate about New Urbanism and human-scale architecture. My Master's Degree Project was a "Town Design" for North Miami Beach, creating and developing 9 lots along North Shore Recreation Park. Development of open spaces, hotels, retail, residential and restoration of the park. Restoration included a widening of Collins Ave to incorporate a "Paseo" with paving, fountains, benches, shade trees and to ease transition of densities from the urban environment to the newly restored park and recreation center. Axial relationships were created from a plaza along Collin's through the Paseo out to the edge of the park ending at a lookout boardwalk at the beach.
