AECOM, Houston, TX, US, Architecture Designer II

As Architecture Designer II at AECOM, I worked alongside architects to deliver construction documents to the client. I assisted in all design phases of the project from idea conceptualization to project completion. (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration) I was responsible for setting up the project as well as drafting details and plan drawings. I communicated with multiple disciplines and consultants on various manufacturing and commercial projects. ( Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Technology, Fire Protection, Structure and Interior Design)

I managed internal team priorities to help efficiently deliver tasks. This past summer I guided and supported two summer interns on projects and professional growth while on-boarding two new hire employees to our team.

I was also responsible for the architecture team’s material library and organized all vendor learning sessions. As a part of team bonding and to promote a healthy work environment, I was the team organizer for group outings and office culture events.
