About

I have always loved problem solving and puzzles, ever since I was a child. I knew that in my career I wanted to be able to apply this sort of intuitive thinking but I also wanted a career that appealed to my artistic inclinations as well. Interior design has been that perfect balance of problem solving and creativity that continues to challenge and inspire me everyday, I could not picture myself in any other job field. Recently while studying abroad I became interested in Hospitality design after staying in a few of Europe’s boutique hotels. In particular, the American standard of a hotel versus what we were staying at in Europe intrigued me. As I continued my capstone project and really began to further grasp what hospitality design entailed I grew attached the artistic freedom it allowed me while still using the systematic problem solving of space planning and room placement. Although my interests lie in Hospitality any field of Interior Design interests me. I personally view the possibilities of design
