Having studied in Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto, Portugal, the academic “home” of Pritzker Prizes Álvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto de Moura, as a young architect I have followed my own personal trajectory, crossing the schoolʼs strong conceptual architecture tradition with emerging sustainable industrial design approaches, always supported by a rigorous and continuous professional development.
I like to define my work as young and innovative both in architecture and industrial design, with a modernist's eye for order, beauty, creativity and social consciousness. It is important to me to think and work with a wide perspective and an environmentalist's awareness about sustainability and long-term thinking. Besides a large professional experience in architecture, I have worked in urban planning and rehabilitation. During these years I assumed leadership in several project’s management and supervision work, also coordinating project spe- cialties. I also studied Project Auditing and Quality, the concept of Re-Architecture and developed my skills with several Project Management workshops and courses. Since 2009, I am a certificated LiderA assessor, the portuguese voluntary system for assessment of sustainable construction.
