About

I was raised in Italy, surrounded by some of the most beautiful buildings in the world, but I have always had American architecture in my dreams.  At the University of Florence, I took all the courses in architecture that would transfer to an equivalent Master’s degree program in architecture in the U.S.A., and I tried in my projects and exams to show my interest in American architecture.

When I moved to the United States in 2000, my dreams started to become a reality. I became a legal permanent resident (Since May 4, 2012 I’m a US Citizen) and have been working in the States in the field of architecture since December of that year.

In the past 11 ½  years, I have had a lot of good work experience in design and planning of Institutional, Pharmaceutical and Health care facilities, Corporate Office buildings, Public Facilities, Educational facilities and in Commercial Development.

I have completed a number of jobs from the programming/planning phase to the closeout phase, generating construction and contract documents, managing design team including consultants, generating project scopes, schedules and budgets, coordinating meetings with different parties, reviewing construction drawings for code compliance and performing periodic site inspections, observation reports and punch lists.

One of the advantages of being raised in another culture is the different perspective it gives me on the possibilities of great architectural design and planning.  That, coupled with the hands-on technical skills still taught in Italian architecture studies, makes me an excellent candidate for many positions.
