My work is motivated by relentlessly searching for innovative ways to communicate, design and build. Driven to understand what connects people with the built form around them, what stimulates them and what ultimately gives them meaning.
I aim to pursue new ideas that challenge the conventional perceptions of desgn and its relationship to the environment. I am looking to join a team where I can strive to create stimulating places that facilitate social interaction and provide a fulfilling, transformative experience to the enviornment and all those who interact with the building, inside and out
NumberTEN Architectural Group, Winnipeg, MB, CA, Junior Designer
Working with NumberTen Architectural Group provided a collaborative environment where I was part of the Education and Commercial studio teams. Since beginning in 2012 as a summer student I have been involved in projects such as Red River College STTC, The Forks Market, TRAF Office Renovation, and Pikangikum First Nation School. Working with NumberTEN has given me the opportunity to expand my skills in a range of project phases including schematic design, construction drawings, project coordination and administration, site measuring, as built drawings as well as design development for current and proposed projects. As part of the multi-disciplinary team I shared responsibilities, common values and aspirations all working towards delivering a project that celebrated individuality and personal expression while effectively responding to the location’s architectural, social and economic needs. Through out my employment I have been able to gain professional and technical experience while continuing to improve and learn new skills sets within current practice.
