This is an example of the typical small-scale, detail-oriented project I have been working on while getting established in independent practice.  A collaboration with Nathan Cole, Builder, this project reworked the bath/toilet room of an existing Arts & Crafts style house.  We used the remodel as an opportunity to research custom concrete elements.  Here, I designed the wall-mounted double bowl vanity that cantilevered from plate steel mounted on reinforced wood framing.  We are currently developing more such details for our current projects for living spaces and kitchens.  This approach enables us to control the quality of our projects and extend our skill sets during a time when larger projects are tougher to come by.
