Thanks to the new development of the Palma de Mallorca´s Waterfront, the old commercial dock has become a new public area where many different activities should coexist (sports, cultural, gastronomic, etc…)
The most important building will be a new Archaeological Museum.
We propose a museum with a big and limitless central space that connects all the heavy and closed volumes where the different activities will take place such as two big showrooms, a little theatre, a restaurant and a playroom.

The theatre should stand out over the landscape. So our intention is to enhance the volumes and attract all the pedestrians around. That way, a big podium, thought as a public and open showroom, makes the baseline of the powerful distorted volumes that increases the rhythm and dynamism to the museum.

The podium is an extension of the interior of the museum, interpreting the master lines of the Project.
