open mode used the renovation of an apartment in brooklyn, ny as a case study in small-space-functionality. we focused on the kitchen as the heart of the space, maximizing storage and incorporating a seating area adjacent to the original fireplace. from compact appliances, “hidden” cabinets and a full height panty we made sure that every last inch was utilized.
