I was born in 1992 in Crete, Greece where I grew up until 2010 that I moved to the UK to study Architecture. The socio-economic turmoil that my country and Europe in general experiences in the last decade was critical to the development of my own architectural agenda.
I am fascinated by cities, the complexity of urban life, the material flows that they include and the way that the urban commons can contribute in city planning. I have a passion for pursuing collective and interdisciplinary solutions - something I desire to achieve practically in my projects.
In my studies I had the opportunity to experiment with the social, economic, environmental and political dimension of architecture and to work in projects with strategies for transition to circular economies, renewable energy sources, participatory design and planning of community infrastructure as well as the struggle for reclaiming the “right to the city”.
