Soft Screen is a responsive architectural partition designed for the main lobby space of the offices of a media company in California. The project, which measures 120’ wide and 40’ tall, features over 30,000 LEDs hidden behind a fuzzy acoustical membrane. The overall effect is a seamless integration of the analog architecture of the lobby space and the digital platform of the company it represents. By standing on medallions distributed throughout the lobby, visitors trigger interactive features within the wall, making it your own experience for a few moments.
