odD+ is design studio based in Ecuador  that engages proactively in trans-scalar operations in architecture, landscape + urbanism, cultural analysis and all creativity clogged in-between. The firm emerges on the premise that architecture as an urban artifact is in perpetual motion and constant tension with its natural environment. Through ecological anthropology, we study the relationships between cultural adaptation within various geographies. Striving for architecture that harmoniously occupies a certain ecosystem while retaining the pressures of anthropomorphic needs, we probe into the essential elements of architecture and design systems to create functional yet beautiful works that dissolve the paradigm of stagnant architecture.

We work parametrically through the process of iteration, replication, and the morphological transmutation of the type in architecture. We index tradition and deconstruct precedents as a means to acquire knowledge for design innovation.
