Coastiera Ristorante Italiano

Nestled within Bangkok's pulsating heart, amidst a constellation of luxury and opulence, Coastiera emerges as a sanctuary of Southern Italian gastronomy. Situated in the subterranean echelons of the newly reinvigorated 140 Wireless Building, Coastiera is not merely a restaurant - it is the embodiment of celebration, marrying sophisticated energy with the revered traditions of Southern Italy's culinary art.

The venue's location, a dynamic precinct known for its assemblage of 5-star hotels, fine dining, and high-caliber office towers, sets a preeminent stage for this fine dining experience. The design ethos is one of authenticity and reverence; every architectural element, hand-selected and meticulously refined, echoes the enduring qualities of Southern Italy's material culture. This mirrors the chef's own philosophy - only the finest ingredients are sourced, creating a symphony of taste and design.

Coastiera is an experiential chameleon, adapting to the multifaceted needs of its clientele. By day, it stands as a temple of haute cuisine, while by night, it transforms, revealing its alter-ego - a vibrant prelude to Bangkok's nightlife. The design narrative weaves a tale of contrasts: the sturdy materiality of coastal Italy juxtaposed against Bangkok's ethereal party aura, the unadulterated essence of raw ingredients versus the elevated theater of high-table gastronomy, the leisurely tempo of Italian life married with the frenetic rhythm of an ever-awake city.

The restaurant's spatial design is a masterstroke of transcontinental dialogue - Baroque meets Bangkok. Guests are immersed in an ambience where wall patterns, column details, furniture design, color schemes, and geometric forms are a homage to Southern Italy, yet are distinctly placed within the Thai metropolis.

"Refined Alchemy" encapsulates the design language, bringing rustic, handcrafted metals into a dialogue with sleek modernity, celebrating the marriage of craftsmanship and contemporary elegance - a parallel to the culinary philosophy of our distinguished chef.

Guests transition seamlessly from the Bangkok bustle to a Southern Italian reverie as they cross the venue's threshold. Coastiera’s transformation from dining haven to festive escape, the "Disruptive Turn", orchestrates a metamorphosis at 10 pm - a confluence of lighting, music, and social dynamism.

The intricate seating arrangement assures every patron—whether in pairs, quartets, or enjoying the exclusivity of the chef's table - a commanding view of the stage and Hero Bar's artistic prowess. The choreographed lighting escalates with the night's tempo, ensuring that each moment is cast in the perfect ambience.

From the welcoming embrace of the foyer to the crescendo of surprise that punctuates the evening, Coastiera offers a narrative of spaces that anticipates, entices, comforts, and exhilarates. The central axis of symmetry and a meticulously considered circulation plan afford both spaciousness and intimacy, crafting an atmosphere that is as comforting as it is grand. In Coastiera, every design detail, every crafted plate, every note of music contributes to a dining experience unparalleled - a testament to the unique confluence of architecture and gastronomy.
