This project explores the natural phenomena of canyons and erosion as inspiration for a gallery and house located in Cambridge, MA. Two sunken courtyards bring light down to the gallery spaces through glass curtains. The curtains have a gap in the middle to capture light from above and illuminate below. The space is experienced through exploration and revelation; not all is visible or transparent from the onset.
