Natalia Rossi is a dedicated and forward-thinking fifth-year undergraduate student at Pratt Institute. With a Concentration in Morphology, Natalia has a keen interest in the study of structure and forms. Her projects combine historical preservation, sustainability, material exploration, and robotic fabrications, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to design that considers the past and the future.

Responsible for a team of 10 student-volunteers developing an end of year book for both personal memories as well as the university’s accreditation process.
Organized and arranged meetings, and deadlines, and distributed tasks amongst the team.
Managed Archival RIBA and NCARB Accreditation Documentation
- Archived and documented Pratt school of architecture student’s work and organized it based on year.
- Created documents for the university’s accreditation.

- Led the development of the template of the upcoming end of year book.
- Collected all work that would be exhibited in end of year publication and photographed them.
- Met with students, professors, and administration to discuss the publication and their roles within it.
- Coordinated deadlines, and managed the printer budget, printing dates, and distribution methods of the published book.
Website Construction
- Worked with administration to update the school’s website to become more modernized.
- Created a method to automate and immediately publish work that is uploaded to the website.
- Developed the archives section of the new Pratt SOA Website.
- Automated the copywriter approvals for published work.

- Had to carefully transport and scan dated physical publications to best preserve and digitize them for future reference.
- Efficiently organized digital publications for ease of access and referencing.

The Bronx Defenders- Lobby and Commercial Office Space Renovation
- Participated and annotated initial discussions with clients to understand the - needs for the space along with its functionality.
- Designed functional spaces catered to the request of the client through digestible visual mediums and vignette drawing techniques.
- Operated within a tight low budget.
Seton Education Partners- Office, Education, and Housing Space
- Drew plans, elevations, and sectional architectural drawings based on existing conditions and new design ideas for construction documentation.
- Discussed and worked through ideas with the Construction Manager and Client Representative.
- Gathered and organized necessary documentation for project development.
Sloomoo- Experiential, Installation, Retail Space
- Created a hyper detailed set of drawings for the construction of custom interactive installations.
- Timely delivered and drew plans, elevations, and sectional architectural drawings for organic architecture.
- Constructed 3D models for the Construction Manager to better analyze the construction documentation.
PD Water Systems, Miami, Florida, Social Media and Marketing Assistant
- Created graphically entertaining and informative posts and organized their digital distribution through the calendar year.
- Posted graphics based on marketing needs to increase digital interactions and bring in website traffic.

Pratt Soa Student Archive Selected by Gonzalo Carbajo + Guillermo Banchini, 1st Place
Student selected to be in publication of INPROCESS. Selected to present project on special review.
Projected to serve the transportation needs of more than three million people annually in the coming years, this Transit Hub links local, regional, national, and international commuters via bus, train, ferries, and cable car along the Parana River. The design was inspired by the delta formations in the Parana River and a peeling formation that merges the city with the waterfront. The industrial bar allowed for the boats to dock and people the circulation the terminals and waiting rooms.

In 2016 the Environmental Protection Agency reported that 23.1 million tons of broken pieces of concrete waste are annually discarded from new construction sites. Our project interrogates the importance of using CMU as spolia to generate a new facade assembly. A system of CMU collection, 3D Point-cloud scanning, a physics simulator, and a wall cluster assemblage was created. The project focused on wall assemblies and environmental awareness of material waste.

The project Winding Pathways was designed based on understanding the needs of the client, which are plants, water, and visitors. Developing an architecture space where water can freely flow along the vegetation. Visitors wind their way up and down the structure while stopping for the views of the vegetation and to collect books from the library units.
