On January 5th, 2011, Natalia Parrado was contacted by NCC-Habitat for Humanity to volunteer and help them in the design of a house located in Frisco, Texas.

At the beginning, Habitat for Humanity was looking for a 4 bedroom 2 bath plan, but it was finally changed to a 3 bedroom 2 bath plan with an area of 1,200-1,250 sq Ft. (111 – 116 sq m).
The city required a two car garage which in this case had to be in the left rear corner, opening to the back. It was very important for the house to have handicap visitable accommodations, and an economic way to be built using non-expensive materials and non-skillful builders.
