Sean is Principal Architect and Partner at NorthWind Architects. He is a lifelong Alaskan, and having practiced architecture in Alaska since 1994, he has developed a broad resume of project experience in all corners of the State. Sean values excellent design that positively affects how we live. In his practice it is his mission is to facilitate the creation of architecture successful in response to both its physical and social environment. Implicit in this vision is design for longevity in both our evolving social landscape and rigorous regional climates.

2016 AIA Honor for Mendenhall Valley Library, Award
NorthWind Architects leading the design team with Hacker out of Portland as design consultant was recognized for the is 20,000 sf public library project located in Juneau, Alaska. The project also received LEED Gold certification in 2017. Sean Boily was contract & project manager and principal in charge.
