We were to create our final project for the Junior semester based off of a real space.  We had to work with the city to find current architecturals as well as request a visit to the space.  I chose a vacant building that had no existing walls.  The only structural aspect it had were the columns located in the center of the space.  I worked at a salon at the time and was fascinated with the way a space could make you feel from the moment you walked in the door for your cut and color to the time you left.  I created an organic yet modern space that drew upon natural materials.  I was extremely happy with the outcome and we had to present to a panel of professors and professionals upon completion.
