About

I am a recent graduate with a Master's Degree in Architecture & Community Design as well as a Master's Degree in Urban Community Design from the University of South Florida. Due to this, I am currently looking for postgraduate, full-time work in the field of architecture and urban design so that I can work towards licensure.

I am very passionate about architecture and urban design and would like to utilize the skills I have cultivated over the years to create pleasant and successful places. I have experience working at both small and large scales, and my learnings from my studies in urban design have given me a skillset in how to build communities. I am proficient in Autodesk CAD and Revit, as well as Rhino 7, Adobe Photoshop and Indesign, Lumion, and ArcGIS Pro. I also have a fair amount of experience working in groups and teams, both in my university studies and my internship experiences.

I believe that my experience working in both the architectural and the urban design fields can be incredibly beneficial and offer a more wholistic view than the standard applicant may present. With a huge recent push for sustainable design, and many projects having a misunderstanding of the urban context they reside in, I truly believe that a larger understanding of the urban fabric is an integral part of successful architecture and design.

Education

University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, US, Masters, Urban Community Design

Studied urban design in both a 2D and 3D environment. I learned how to take architecture and relate it to urban context. For example, how a building can affect the environment of the street and positively or negatively impact the pedestrian realm. Most of my studies for this degree were in a studio environment focused on solving problems from both the human scale, as well as at a citywide scale.
