Nika Design Studio was formed in 2021. The studio name has been derived from the initials of its principal designers , Nidhi and Karan.

Karan has always been uninhibited and spontaneous as a person with a creative flair. After 12th he was not sure of the career path he wanted to go forward with but he knew it had to be something he could follow with passion. Around the same time he visited a relative , an interior designer by profession at his site. This visit intrigued him as the first time he visited the site ,it was in shambles and a month later when he visited again ,the entire space had been unbelievably transformed. It ignited his passion towards interior design as he too envisioned himself to transform spaces and help people realise their dream. He joined Rachna Sansad to pursue interior designing. 

Post College , he went on to work with his relative for a few years to gain technical knowledge. He soon realised that he had to step out on his own for which he needed to refine his designing skills. He went on to work with prestigious firm over the next few years  to gain valuable insights and experience. Post this he established his own practice.

Nidhi on the other hand always had a keen interest in art and business. She hailed from a business family and went on to pursue business management studies (BMS) with the dream of having her own business someday. During this time she realised that the corporate world and rat race did not hold any appeal to her. To satiate her creative side, she decided to pursue a degree in Interior Designing.Post her graduation, she went on to work with different firms gaining valuable insight and experience. After 5 years she decided that it was time for her to realise her dream to start her own practice.

Nidhi and Karan first got acquainted while she was pursuing her degree at ranchna sansad. Karan was a visiting faculty at Rachna's at the time. They soon became friends and started dating a year later. During Nidhi's transition period, post her last job and laying foundations for her own practice , they got  chance to work on a commons friend's residential projects. During this time they worked brilliantly together as a team and realised they compliment each others designing sense and ideology. That's how NIKA came to be.

Nika Design Studio aims at creating spaces and ideas that reflects the clients personalities in sync with NIKA's design ideology. Each space is curated with passion , care and warmth. 

Over the years the studio has expanded its horizon from residential interiors to commercial , retail and hospitality.
