I am a fifth year Bachelor of Architecture student at Pennsylvania State University with four years of summer architectural internship experience at Robert Storm Architects, which caters to wealthy clientele in Fairfield County. I believe that my experience working in a fast paced environment for the last four summers, combined with my strong work ethic, broad knowledge of architectural computer programs, and challenging academic schedule will enable me to apply my skills in a position after I graduate.
For the past four summers I have worked on residential construction mainly using AutoCAD Architecture. For new residential construction, I worked directly with the clients to design a new home that suited their needs, through using AutoCAD Architecture and meeting bi-weekly to collaborate on the design. I have also worked directly with clients to design interior elevations. For residential renovations, I was given the responsibility of measuring the existing conditions of the home, inputting the information into AutoCAD Architecture to create a 3d model of the home, and presented clients with different design ideas to collaborate on a design that best suited them.
I discovered my passion for photography while on my study abroad trip in Rome, Italy. I also have a passion for interior design. After graduation I hope to pursue a career that will help me pursue becoming a licensed professional. I also have a passion for non-profit architecture which I would like to pursue after I become licensed.
