Hello! My name is Nicole. I'm currently a fourth year at the Rhode Island School of Design studying Architecture. My passions lay in the conceptualization and hands on processes that architecture education has to offer. Recently, I have been very interested in plaster casting, modeling with wood, and other opportunities that allow realizations to come as close to 1:1 scale when appropriate.
I also love to draw and have been working with hybridizing analog and digital media as the finesse of a hand cannot match the precision of a computer, the two together create an undeniable harmony.
Writing has become an unexpected recent passion and meditation that I have become very thankful for. And has become an important part of my working process.
This semester I am working with python script and pen plotting drawings that may or may not be deemed architectural. The urgency of converting digital grows exponentially and sometimes this automated process is much to ahead of its time.
