The house plays with the topography of the site. The view upon driving up to the house gives a smaller, one level cabin feel, only realizing the house has a lower level upon entering. The goal was to extend the nature through the site. The entire house is one room deep, is to experience the lake from all rooms. Elements such as the elongated porch is an extension of the living space.
