Modernist Campo: A map that assembles historical architectural visions of the city and blends different schemes to speculate on new forms of urbanism. Each landmass focuses on two schemes (such as Howard’s Garden City, Hilberseimer’s Groszstadt, or Tange’s Tokyo Bay Plan) and, in turn, couples these with its adjacent urban islands. What results is a composite of 20th century visionary architectural urbanism. Image courtesy of Alexander Eisenschmidt.
