Navid is an Architect with several years of professional experience working on various transit and transportation facilities. Currently working at Stantec on several major transit projects, he is a core member of the team that helps enhance transportation connectivity within communities.
His professional expertise is shaped up by working on various stages of design including preparation of pre-design reports, feasibility studies, schematic design, preliminary design and technical design reports. As a Design lead, he can develop and prepare full contract documentation ensuring the technical accuracy, compliance with all relevant codes, adequacy of design, safety, constructability, maintainability and cost effectiveness.
Currently, Navid is responsible for maintaining day-to-day contact with clients, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and other stakeholders as well as managing consultants and internal teams. It is also part of his duties to ensure that the projects are financially on track and on schedule.
