The job role focuses on participating in the design development phase of projects. This includes translating initial concepts and sketches into detailed architectural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Also assisting in creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings under the guidance of senior staff. Also conducting site analysis and researches on building techniques and materials.

During my academic years, we started with foundational courses that establish a solid understanding of architecture as a discipline. These courses cover architectural history, theory, and principles of design. Students learn about different architectural styles, influential architects, and key movements throughout history that have shaped the built environment.
And Central to architecture education are design studios, where students engage in hands-on design projects under the guidance of professors and practicing architects. Studios provide opportunities to develop design skills, explore creative solutions to architectural problems, and experiment with different design methodologies and approaches. During my studies, the university focused on Architecture programs emphasize the development of technical skills essential for architectural practice. This includes learning architectural drafting, computer-aided design (CAD), building information modeling (BIM), 3D modeling and rendering, and construction documentation. Students also gain knowledge in structural systems, building materials, construction techniques, and building codes.
