Nancy Diniz is a registered architect, educator and Principal of Augmented Architectures and bioMATTERS. Nancy is the Director of the MA in Biodesign at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. She is also Co-Director of the IaaC New York Global Summer School and has previously held academic positions in the US, China, UK, Italy and Portugal. Nancy has received several grants, residencies and fellowships namely from New York State Council on the Arts/Storefront, MacDowell Colony, EYEBEAM, Arctic Circle, US, Seoul Art Space Geumcheon, Korea, The Foundation for Science and Technology, Portugal and Xi'an Jiatotong-Liverpool University. She is an affiliated researcher at ISTAR - Information Sciences, Technologies and Architecture Research Center, Digital Living Spaces Lab, ISCTE, Lisbon Portugal and at WSNL Wireless Sensor Network Lab, XJTLU, Suzhou, China. Nancy is a member of innumerous Scientific Committees on topics related with Computation Design, namely ACADIA, SIGRADI, CAADRIA, eCAADe, ACHI, MAB and ASA.
