Columbia University GSAPP, Studio X Amman, Amman, JO, Research Intern
Through the GSSAP StudioX program I worked with a small group of Architects and students to both document and analyze the Masterplans, (conceptive and realized) for Amman and Jordan from its inception. Along with culminating all the master plans which had never been done before, we had documented housing typologies and abandoned buildings throughout Amman's history and current state. This work had been presented in the 2016 Shenzhen Biennale along with the other GSSAP research. I had continued with the Frozen Imaginaries project in the Summer of 2016, finalizing the material gathered so it can be published in the 2016 Columbia University GSSAP Abstract along with the work being presented in ongoing research and future seminars and lecture series in Amman.
