Marcus Ziemke founded the architecture and design firm M. Ziemke Architecture in 2021, in New York City. After graduating from the Pratt Institute, he spent over a decade in New York building his experience in high end residential architecture in and around the city - from bespoke townhouse and flat renovations to ground up homes in the Hamptons, and elsewhere. During his final years before starting his own office, Marcus worked with the esteemed firm, Sawyer|Berson Architecture & Landscape Architecture.
Rooted fundamentally in the evermore collaborative process of architectural design, M. Ziemke Architecture aims to bring a comprehensive yet highly detailed vision of space to private architecture. Marcus sits with every project to work ceaselessly through each detail, alongside his colleagues, focused on each work’s unique identity and style.
Endeavoring to create textural and personal spaces, M. Ziemke Architecture explores each project against an ever-changing backdrop of modern living, with a focus on materiality, light, and lifestyle.
Marcus Ziemke is a registered architect in the states of New York and Connecticut, and NCARB-certified, and works globally.
