I am Maria Fernanda Traboulsi. I am 23 years old and am from Venezuela. I am passionate about great spaces that create a positive impact on society. In pursuing my goals, I decided to study Interior Architecture and Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and I will graduate this Spring 2020. I am also passionate about golf. The Academy gave me the opportunity of being a part of the Art U Women's Golf Team, which I have been member of for four years. During my student-athlete career, I have been part of the President's List, and have won the Best Individual GPA award of 2018-2019 out of all student-athletes. Outside the school, I had the excellent opportunity to join HBA San Francisco for the 2019 Summer internship class, and will later rejoin the firm for a spring internship position. I hope to continue growing as a person and designer in an interior design firm to contribute to the field and the world with my ideas.

At the Academy of Art program I developed the kills needed to help me succeed in a number of careers, including project designer, visualization specialist or building information management (BIM) designer. The courses explained all the steps to create design solutions like concept development, design process of sketches, drafting by hand and digitally, color theory, sustainable design, and presentation skills.
