Magdalena Sofía Soto is a Graduate student at Texas Tech University. Having spent most of her life in the heavily populated city of Monterrey, Mexico, she has a diverse knowledge of culture, which lends itself well to the field of architecture. Sofía has studied in Mexico, Texas, and France. While in these disparate settings, she has taken on projects dealing with the complexities of the urban environment, commercial, residential, and socio-political backgrounds. When not spending her time designing, Sofía also enjoys reading, hiking, painting, and a good cup of joe.
