Since graduating from Syracuse University School of Architecture [Cum Laude] in 2009, Alexander has over ten years of professional experience. He has led the design of, produced full drawing sets and managed numerous mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, institutional and residential projects, from the concept/schematic phase all the way to construction in the United States, China, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The invaluable skills and insights he gained from his experiences at Kohn Pedersen Fox, Gensler, GLUCK+, RAFT Architects, Imrey Studio and Studio Hillier have crafted his design approach as well as his attention to details.
Some notable projects that Alexander has contributed on include PS376Q, a brand new New York City primary school located in Bayside, Queens, NY, and the iconic CTF Finance Centre, a 530m mixed-use supertall tower in Guangzhou, China. The CTF Finance Centre complex will be the anchor of Guangzhou’s emerging CBD and the tallest, most programmatically integrated skyscraper in the city. Both projects were completed in 2017.
Currently, Alexander is designing and managing a 350,000 GSF mixed-use project in Jersey City in conjunction with NJCU, the Joffrey Ballet and Strategic Development Group called the Center for Music, Dance, Theatre and University Performing Arts Center. The building will be the new center of a larger master plan called University Place. The mixed-use building is comprised of a few components: 343 residential units, 3 restaurants, new rehearsal spaces, classrooms, and offices for NJCU's Music, Dance and Theatre program, a 100 seat recital hall, and a 490 seat theater with support spaces and dance studios. Construction is scheduled to start Fall 2019.
