Originally from Croatia, Maja is a designer with a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). With two years of experience working in both the United States and Europe, her diverse architectural background shows completed spectrum of projects to pose a variety of complex ideologies, with focus on socio-economical, political and cultural issues. She believes convincing successful project lies in the power of pushing the boundaries of unexpected which elevates human experience and its relationship with the environment. Along with architecture, Maja finds art, sculpture, poetry and photography elements to enhance her journey as an architect. Prior to joining Dattner, Maja worked as a designer at TSK Architects.

Completed ADA Survey for Construction Administration phase and punchlisting in coordination with New York City School Construction Authority. Created Revit Construction Documents for Bidding, Permits, DOB and DOH Filing, State Hospital Code Submission, Addendums, Conformance Set and Bulletins while coordinating with consultants on regular basis (signage, lighting, MEP,structural).

+ Assisted in interiors presentation boards, material & finish selection. Modeled,drafted and designed exteriors and interiors for design-build project from Conceptual through Design Development phase. Designed facade, interior stairway, and classrooms for public schools. Researched and created graphic identity for building programs through design interventions. Built small and large scale physical models.
