An up-and-coming theater company in OC wanted to upgrade both their street visibility and interior mood. I spearheaded the DD process, creating an exterior "light sculpture" composed of shifting marquee light boxes, capable of changing color and message depending on the nature of the current production. In the black box I organized ordinary florescent tube lights in a star burst, creating an intriguing graphic presence above in an otherwise austere environment.
