About

My name is Morgan Oster and I am from Flagstaff, Arizona and received my B.Arch from the University of Arizona.

Raised in a very outdoorsie family, I am decidedly indoorsie.  I have a very diverse range of hobbies that fill my life and closets with projects.  I have deep love of sewing, embroidery, macrame, sketching, photography, refinishing craigslist furniture, graphic design, knitting, cooking, canning and brewing.

In school, I excelled in conceptual design, graphic and verbal presentations, and model building which resulted in receiving several design awards and a publication in ARCHITECT magazine.  I was also honored with the opportunity to be a TA for building technologies/structures courses in the 2nd-4th year curriculum, and was the only student featured in a 2017 AIA Arizona Model Exhibit.

In my internships, I have gained professional work experience ranging from a 5 person office, to a 40 person office and in both architecture and construction.  Additionally I worked on many stages of production including conceptual design, CD, CA and on a range of scales from a particularly elaborate downspout to a site design for Arizona State University.

Professionally, my skills include verbal and graphic communication, prioritizing bigger picture goals, creative problem solving, intrinsic motivation, focus and a positive attitude. I am proficient in the following software: Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Maxwell Render, Microsoft Office, Rhino, Sketchup and V-Ray Render.  I have a introductory to intermediate knowledge of Revit and Revit Render, as well as Grasshopper.
