WWF - OBSERVATION CABINS

The project approaches the place by reading clear edges marked by the context, a first edge given by the access road and a second edge that is visibly generated by the lagoon. The site is a space of great complexity, not only because it is subordinate to the natural environment but also because of the large scale in which it is immersed, so, the project in addition to the edges, proposes three key strips that allow a greater understanding; the first strip, rooted at the arrival and the congregation of the flows (visitors’ center), then there is the strip associated with the lagoon and the landscape (observation points), and finally, a last strip in the middle of these two, showing the need to structure and articulate them.

Likewise, going from a much more abstract process to a more concrete formalization of the general idea, it is the line, the point and the surface that are the project tools that allow knowing how and where to make the precise interventions, understanding the lines as the connections and ties between the parts of the project, the point as the site where said parts are located and the surface, as the different natural planes (land/water) that support the above, providing, a posteriori, a form and order to the architectural project.
