IwamotoScott Architecture, San Francisco, Project Leader
In six weeks, I led a small team from concept rendering, to a fully fabricated and deployable overhead installation in SF's Moscone Center West for Google I/O 2014. The installation was comprised of 20 thousand individual sheets of Stapled Tyvek synthetic paper, attached to 48 CNC milled melamine plywood panels, mounted to powder coated steel backing frames. The entire system flat packed with retaining poly straps onto 4 shrink wrapped pallets and was transported from CCA to Moscone with only a 16' box truck.
