MoDe Studio is a design and innovation workshop established in Boston in 2011, focused on creating and implementing disruptive solutions to bring technology, efficiency and sustainability to our cities, buildings and homes.

We develop intelligent projects, that are contextually responsive, and designed with a user-centric approach, basing all decisions on hard data and verifiable metrics. in 2013 MoDe Studio and MIT’s Sustainable Design Lab founded clean tech spinoff Mapdwell, an urban information start-up engaged in conceptualization, design, and implementation of information tools to drive sustainable practices. Mapdwell delivers meaningful information through powerful and engaging decision-making tools that transform complex data into access, action, and progress. Focused on energy, Mapdwell has developed an award-winning, open platform capable of visualizing the solar PV potential of any rooftop in the world, and is currently developing groundbreaking tools to transform energy decision-making.
