Barkev received his Bachelor of Architecture in 2011 from the Southern California Institute of Architecture where he was awarded consecutive scholarships for his portfolio and graduated with distinction for his academic achievements. Since then, he has contributed to meaningful, impactful, and sustainable projects with select design studios that have garnered recognition from the American Institute of Architects.
Barkev is a registered Architect in the State of California and has received NCARB Certification. He has achieved NCIDQ Interior Designer Certification from the Council of Interior Design Qualifications. Conjointly, he has attained Evidence-based Design Accreditation and Certification from the Center for Health Design and the acclaimed industry-recognized certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. Moreover, Daron has attained a series of credentials as an accredited professional, including WELL AP from the International WELL Building Institute, SITES AP from the Green Business Certifications Inc, and LEED AP in all five specialties inclusive of: Neighborhood Development, Operations + Maintenance, Interior Design + Construction, Building Design + Construction, and Homes from the U.S. Green Building Council.
His diverse credentials speak to his belief that pursuing excellence in architecture design shall utilize mindful consideration of sustainability and how that applies to and impacts our prosperity as a species within our natural habitat and the built environment.
